The public is invited to
pitch in our first Sanctioned Singles
Tournament for 2008. This round robin tournament will cost $10 and
will be held from 9am to noon at the Gage Park horseshoe courts on
Saturday, May 17, 2008. Registration is from 8am to 8:30 am on the
17th or call Terry at 267-6016 or Frank at 862-8880. An annual NHPA
(National Horseshoe Pitchers Association) membership card will be
required and can be purchased during registration on the 17th. The
cost to purchase the 2008 membership card is $20 for adults. The
NHPA Junior (under 19) membership cards are $7 per year.
Participants are required to pay the scorekeeper 50 cents per game.
The tournament is open to everyone with beginners pitching against
beginners. Loaner horseshoes are available if needed. |
