  Our History

  • The first World Horseshoe Tournament was held in Bronson, Kansas in 1909.
  • Topeka Horseshoe Association has been a part of Gage Park since 1910.
  • In 2001, President George W. Bush had horseshoe courts installed at the White House.
  • In 2002, The City of Topeka and the Topeka Parks & Recreation built 18 new horseshoe courts with full walkways.
  • The Topeka Horseshoe Association has hosted many state tournaments with the latest occurring in 2003 & 2004
